Q: What is Personalized Solutions?

Q: I've never heard of professional organizing before. What is it?
A: Professional organizing is a huge umbrella of services that helps client create organizing systems for different aspects of their lives. For example, organizing could entail setting up a filing system, designing a closet, making a kitchen more efficient or organizing a child's playroom.

Q: Do you work with individuals as well as businesses?
A: Most often I work in clients' homes or home offices to pull together their physical environment. I have helped many entrepreneurs get organized in order to head in the right direction as they are starting or growing their businesses.

Q: How does a typical organizing session work?
A: The first session revolves around understanding the project, making a plan of action and getting started. Subsequent sessions usually involve sorting and eliminating items that are no longer needed. I also help clients find places to donate or consign their unwanted things. We then design a system for the remaining items to stay organized. We make a visible difference in every session!

Q: What makes your service personalized?
A: I focus on creating customized organizing solutions that are tailored to individual needs, to how they think and work. When the systems are based around the client's lifestyle, they will be able to maintain them on their own.

Q: Do you offer services other than organizing?
A: Yes, I help clients with time management so they can get control on their time and be able to accomplish their goals and dreams. I also regularly speak to various groups and teach time management and organizing.

Q: Do you have any good organizing tips you can offer us?
A: Absolutely! As a small business owner, I have found it is very important to hire out services for things I don't like to do or I am not good at doing. We wear so many hats in our businesses and sometimes it is more cost effective to hire someone to do a task for us. We are then able to focus on the things that we love and that make us profitable.
