2. Celebrating YES!Circle First Anniversary... Number Two
Two Cents from the Chief Visionary
Wow, does time fly! We’ve been running so fast lately, it only occurred to me recently that YES!Circle has approached another major milestone – our First Anniversary #2! You’re probably thinking, didn’t I just attend the YES!Circle First Anniversary Gala in March? (Yes.) Is this just another ploy for a YES!Circle celebration? (Not this time.) Does Margarita not know how to count to 1.5? (Not usually, but today her math is surprisingly on track!) The fact is that for such a youthful organization, YES!Circle has had a pretty fascinating history, including two Birthdays... read more

3. YES!Circle Success Quote
I have been a member of a number of leads/networking groups. Your organization has a different twist as it pertains to supporting, encouraging and providing leads for entrepreneurs, which is quite refreshing. As a novice with little web knowledge and as the in-house "web-master," the substance of the meeting was very helpful. I was impressed by the sense and purpose of the group as I was impressed by the in-house expertise and guidance from the panel members. Very refreshing!

7. Success Pages of the Month
by Karl Jones, YES!Circle Intern
Are you using your most valuable asset - your mind - to the fullest of it's ability? Studies indicate that on the average, people utilize fewer than 10% of their mental capacity. Imagine what would happen to your business if you increased it up to 20% or even 50%? The first step towards expanding your mind is learning how to think. No one teaches this process better than Dr. Napoleon Hill in his classic "Think and Grow Rich". Dr. Hill outlines 13 principles that have made fortunes for countless individuals, including the power of belief; developing a burning desire; and multiplying brainpower through the Mastermind. This book will lead you not only to financial riches, but also to those lying deep within your mind!

8. Community Contribution Corner
YES!Circle proudly continues our partnership with the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE). Because we firmly believe in furthering the spirit of entrepreneurship in our community, 10% of 2003 YES!Circle profit will be donated to this wonderful organization, teaching entrepreneurship skills to at-risk D.C. youth. We are thrilled that your membership dues and program fees will now help us better support NFTE. If you would like to volunteer your time at NFTE, please contact us for more information.

After attending the YES!Circle Anniversary Gala, we received the following note from NFTE, “Thank you for bringing us into your 'Circle' of friends last night. What an incredible group of people. We'd love to attend any future events that you have.” YES!Circle is honored to have NFTE in our “Circle of friends.”
